Driftigt.
“You think it’s cut and dry? You think it’s unethical, period? OK, consider this: one of your clients offers a green technology that could save the world. Asking your 1,000+ employees to RT the article might help draw further media attention to the client’s very worthy product. What do you do? … See? – not so easy now, is it?”
Ouch, this will be a mess… hey Swedish PR-folks, what say you we start to discuss this before we start stressing our media relations with unethical(?) pitches? Or should we start building inhouse client programs for harvesting employee link power?
And just to be sure I’ve said it: Ouch.
Sometimes I feel like I comment or share every post that comes from Brian Solis. Almost like I should stop and let those of you that likes wis blog grab his feed instead. Probably you already did by the way, and these “smurftips” are probably clogging up your reader… but I just can’t help it.
This post contains much PR insight, especially when it comes to place/location and online/offline.
